Aileen Hynes
Aileen Hynes started taking and developing her own photographs in the darkroom
at St. Angelas’ School, the Ursuline Convent and so her passion of photography
began. She went on to study a City & Guilds in Photography and a National
Diploma in Art at WIT in 1992. Since then Aileen has developed a successful
commercial photography business Photozone, but likes nothing better than getting
out and about with her camera during her spare time. The series of ciba-chrome
prints on display here looks at both the changing landscapes of Woodstown Beach
due to the movement of the tide and the change in lighting conditions and details
of the surrounding area.
