Resource Library

The Centre has a resource Library containing upwards of 1000 Videos, 1000 DVDs, and 5,000 Books.

The majority of the Videos and DVDs contain material suitable for showing to your students in class. You can find details of the videos available under "Resources" on this website. All of the DVDS have been purchased in the last 18 months and most have material for students in both Primary and Secondary Schools. Many of them are on Nature, Geography, and History.

The majority of the books have been purchased in the past 3 years and are suitable for teachers to read and implement the strategies in their classrooms. There are a wide variety of books in stock covering such topics as: Classroom Management and Discipline, Multiple Intelligences, Brain-based learning, Leadership, School Effectiveness, Management Skills, Personal Development, Professional Development. Literacy, SPHE, Special Needs and many other categories.

Membership is open to all teachers working in schools in our immediate catchment area. We do not usually allow teachers from outside Waterford, South Kilkenny, New Ross, and South Tipperary join our Resource Library.

Our normal annual subscription rate is for the calendar year. For those joining this term, the annual membership fee will cover the period right up until January 1st 2010. So don't delay!
