The
Write-A-Book Project
The Write a Book Project was organised for 12 years up to 1998. After a lapse
of two years, the project was run again by the centre in 2001 in conjunction with

Millennium
Emails
This project was organised as part of Netd@ys 1999, and drew an enthusiastic
response from Pupils in both Primary and Post-Primary Schools. Pupils were asked
to submit their hopes for the new millennium as an email.
Limericks
The annual Limerick competition commenced in 1997 and was initiated by Seán
Ó'Mulláin, one of the founding members of the Centre. He saw it
as an activity that would give a little pressure to the hard pressed teachers,
raise a laugh, and perhaps relieve stress somewhat. The 2001 Competition has
been postponed until Autumn 2001.
