WEBINAR: NEPS SERIES - UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING LITERACY DIFFICULTIES/DYSLEXIA IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Based on the NEPS resource Supporting Pupils with Literacy Difficulties using the Continuum of Support (Primary), this webinar provides a comprehensive overview of how primary schools can adopt a structured, problem-solving approach to supporting pupils who experience difficulties with literacy, including pupils with dyslexia. It outlines how the Continuum of Support can be used to identify needs early, plan targeted interventions, and monitor progress in a systematic and collaborative way.

The webinar explores the roles of teachers and school teams in implementing evidence-informed strategies at classroom, school support, and school support plus levels, with an emphasis on inclusive practice and differentiated instruction. Practical examples are shared to illustrate effective approaches to assessment, planning, and intervention, supporting schools in developing responsive, consistent, and sustainable literacy supports for all learners.
