All children need to use self-regulation skills so that engage in a wide range of activities in the classroom and outside on the yard. Signs of poor regulation may include children appearing giddy, sluggish/zoned out, unable to sit still and focus on the task, emotional outbursts when challenged by social or learning activities. This webinar will discuss why self-regulation can be challenging for some children with a neurodevelopmental disorder(s) (such as Autism, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder). This webinar will provide attendees with a toolkit of regulation friendly strategies to enhance the environment, learning and inclusion of all children not just children with a neurodevelopmental disorder! It will provide teachers and SNA’s with tips and strategies to support and develop self-regulation skills within the classroom and outside on the yard.
