ONLINE: iPad AND ACCESSIBILITY

- Technology can have a profound effect on educational accessibility.
- Learn how to personalise an iPad to meet the needs of an individual learner and explore specific apps for autism, dyslexia, poor fine-motor skills, low attention skills and much more.
- During this workshop we’ll use some of the inbuilt features on the iPad that can make a big impact on supporting all learners as well and apps that can benefit all learners.
- We will reflect on how the iPad can support the embedding of the Universal Design for learning in our teaching.
Facilitator - Patrick Hickey
Patrick is a primary teacher with a huge passion for using technology to enhance teaching, learning and assessment. He has a huge interest in using I.C.T to provide greater opportunities for collaboration and innovation. Patrick is an Apple teacher and leader, Google Certified Educator, Trainer and Innovator and Microsoft Certified Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert.
