We stock some superb educational resources in the centre. For some of our resources a deposit is required.

To book a resource - A €25 non-refundable charge is required for each resource to cover any accidental damage that may occur and to purchase new resources for the Centre. You will then receive an email when the resources are available for collection. The loan period for each resource is 2 weeks. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. GL Assessment Dyslexia Portfolio Kit

The Dyslexia Portfolio is made up of a series of nine short assessments that together provide a balance of information that may allow an individual to be identified as dyslexic and the extent of their dyslexia to be measured.

WIAT 3

The Wechsler Individual Achievement Test–III (WIAT-III) is a standardized academic achievement test used to measure previously learned knowledge in the areas of Reading, Written Language, Mathematics, and Oral Language.

Bronze Age Handling Box

The Bronze Age Handling Box is a resource developed to enrich the teaching and learning of History at senior primary and post-primary levels. The Handling Box is made up of a selection of replica objects and raw material and accompanying resources to enhance the teaching of the Bronze Age in Ireland.

Test2R

Deposit Required

TEST2r is an early screening test for reading and writing, it is an individually administered test suitable for 5 and 6 year-old children (Senior Infants and 1st Class). TEST2r is suitable for use by the classroom and Learning Support Teacher. The test is based on solid research (Cogan 2012; Cogan & McAnaney, 2012) and on sound theoretical principles of early reading acquisition and reading failure and helps the teacher build up a profile of each child in their care.

Izak9 is a unique, radical and innovative maths resource. It is an immersive, multi-media rich, active learning device designed for use by children in Primary and Post Primary schools. Children work together in small groups using real cubes to not only solve the number, algebra, data and shape / space problems we pose, but also to develop ideas and create tasks and questions of their own.
